Walter takes the reader through his '90 days of implementation' sharing all kinds of marketing activities in journal format. His enthusiasm, commitment and creativity will carry you along.
Not only is his story inspirational, it is hands-on practical as well.

Authors journey from running his business with some sales/marketing effort to a committed marketing transformation. Good book to open the eyes of small business owners that it is not what industry you are in, but how you can use proven marketing methods to grow virtually any business. I found the information interesting but felt a lot of fluff was included to make it into a book.
If you listen to Walter, if you watch him, you're going to see 3 things he implements marketing multiple techniques simultaneously, he takes massive action, he does this every day. This book isn't some typical polished book that sits on the shelf, it can be a template for you to swipe & deploy in your business.
Walter's journal has inspired me to start a private journal in a weblog / RSS format. Journaling in this way has proven to be a great way to share marketing implementation challenges and successes.
I've benefited from swiping and deploying ideas from this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to improve sales and marketing that impacts the bottom line.
I like to see how someone else runs their business and how he went step by step to his success. Great job Walter !!!
The vast majority of this book is just Walter's diary notes about what he did each day in the 90 day marketing challenge. They are more general tips rather than specific actions. The most useful stuff in it is about creating your own company newsletter. I was a bit disappointed as I had seen his presentation at the GKIC Superconference and this didn't really give me anything concrete compared to other marketing books I've read.
Not only will this inspire you to grow your business, it will also give you a long list of ideas you can "swipe and deploy" to get it done. Walter says throughout that "good enough is good enough," but this book is REALLY good if you're an entrepreneur looking for a breakthrough.
Walter's awareness and actions taken to build his business like we all wish we would is a fantastic inspiration. I have already integrated Walters' way of blocking my time into my own schedule. Also, the focus in mentors is an important reminder. Somebody has likely already blazed a trail, why not take it.
